Life's a cycle they say
maybe it's the truth
but i hope it isn't
it only seems fair
that life be linear
Life's not fair they say
I want to be on the straight
and narrow
I want to walk past yesterday
and towards tomorrow
I do not want to revisit
yesterday
But oh!
to reinact the events of yesterday
does not take away today
today is a new day
where you can find a new way
to get through what feels like yesterday
